1999 Audi A8

1999 Audi A8 Quattro
This is my new Audi A8, it drives as good as it looks. Brand new this was $74,000 MSRP but of course this has a ton of miles which is what put it in my price range.

Exterior:
This car has only some very minor dings here and there. It shows much better than a car with this many miles should have. The paint is beautiful and glossy and there is no damage to anything. This car has never seen an accident. The rims have some very light curb rash here and there but overall the exterior is what I would consider very close to mint.
Interior:
The interior of this car shows very minor wear. The drivers seat shows more than the rest but it's still in very good condition, this car was obviously used by a traveling salesman that must have been afraid to fly. All options work as they should, everything is in excellent condition. The heated seats are my favorite option and there are still some buttons I haven't found and figured out yet. It's very comfortable and very luxurious.
Mechanical:
I had this car inspected by a mechanic before buying it. (Anyone would be crazy not to with this kind of money and mileage) The car is in excellent condition. This car has one of those engines that will last for half a million miles without ever needing anything serious. The transmission shifts smooth and flawlessly but I'm not sure if it's original or not. I've never heard of a transmission lasting this long so I'll assume not. The car makes no bad smells, has no leaks, burns nothing, and makes no bad noises. The car has tons of power. It's not a race car but when you step on it, this car moves. This also has the tiptronic transmission that lets you shift manually without a clutch. This car has brand new brakes, and very good tires. It needs absolutely nothing.
The Mileage:
Before the mileage scares you away, keep in mind that anyone that can afford a car like this, is going to have it serviced at an audi dealer. You wouldn't spend $500,000 on a home and then hire some kids to redo your roof would you? No, a professional is going to do it. This car has been well serviced by professionals and was a trade in on a new Audi A8. The guy liked this car so much he bought another one. Also, anything that needed to be done, has been done. Although at this mileage things can go from time to time, this car has been excellently serviced and is mechanically 100%.

This car is all about the look. No one is going to know how many miles are on it from the outside. I had several people ask me already if I bought it brand new. It's in that good of shape that uneducated people don't know and educated people would believe the car has 30,000 on it if you told them that. This car is just unbelievably luxurious and smooth. Honestly, for $74,000 new, I think I'd be disappointed because I think of it as I can buy 15 $5000 cars for that amount but if you want to travel in style and want to appear successful, this car will fool anyone. Just look at me in it.
